Our
Story
Premiere Hands opened its doors when long time businesses were permanently closing because of the COVID-19 pandemic. There was so much ambiguity in the world that the owner became fearful that things would not work out during this time. Sickness and death were all the things being reported daily. People were afraid of what would happen next. The owner prayed and asked God to help her. She knew if God was on her side, there was no way things could go wrong.
Real estate agents were tasked with showing properties virtually because of the pandemic, but the owner felt the need to get out and see for herself. So, she decided to drive around and look for a place to start. She drove around for hours until she found something. She saw a phone number listed on the outside of a building on W. 8 Mile and decided to call at that moment. And from there, things began to happen. She met with the owner of the building and was told that others were interested in occupying the space as well, so I had to wait for a phone call from the owner to see what they had decided. She waited for several days and maybe even weeks, until she just decided, in a moment’s time, that starting an event space business is probably not the right time. She asked God to give her and sign, as she began to focus on other things. And just minutes later, the phone rang. It was the owner of the building on W. 8 Mile. She was told if she is still interested, she can come, pay the deposit and receive her keys to her new event space. And the rest is history.
Premier Hands occupied its first even space with over 2,000 square feet of open space. It was everything she needed to start. Although, this space was perfect for a starting point, there were many challenges. But the owner and her team worked through them all. After one year, it was determined that it was time for Premiere Hands to move on. There was a space just minutes away from the first location that was an upgrade. It consists of 3900 square feet. It was not the ideal space, but it was more suitable for the type of events that Premiere Hands desires to host.
